Christmas in New York is known worldwide for its extravagant window displays, with the big department stores going all-out to top the awe inspired the previous year. We’re not going to be spoilers and post the photos, but we are going to encourage you to take a stroll this year. We know, tourists. Load your thermos up with a hot mulled beverage and meander down Fifth Avenue, stopping of course to take a gander at the majestic Norway Spruce in Rockefeller Center, brought in from State College, Pennsylvania.
Follow the Santas on this handy map to Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomindgales, Lord and Taylor, and Tiffany. While these represent the annual faves, keep your eyes peeled–there a lots of gems in between, too!
