Bette Midler’s UES Penthouse Lists for $50M

After more than 20 years, Bette Midler is leaving her 7,000 square foot Upper East Side triplex penthouse with Central Park views to downscale. The home, which occupies the 15th, 16th, and 17th floors of 1125 Fifth Avenue. The lowest level has five bedrooms, including a master suite, the middle level has the eat-in kitchen, living room, dining room, and wraparound terrace with outdoor dining, and the upper level has a library and rooftop terrace. Expansive views of Central Park Reservoir are showcased from floor-to-ceiling windows.

Midler and her husband, Martin von Haselberg, decided to downsize after their daughter moved out, but made it clear they will be staying in Manhattan.
