Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany’s New $15.5 Million Brooklyn Heights Townhouse

Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany just moved back to Brooklyn, and into a townhouse that ties for the priciest sale ever in the borough. They bought the 8,000 square foot property for $15.5 million, the same price photographer Jay Maisel paid in 2015 for his Brooklyn home located on Pacific Street in Cobble Hill.

This isn’t Connelly and Bettany’s first foray in Brooklyn. The couple owned a mansion in Park Slope before selling it in 2008 for $8 million and moving to a penthouse in Tribeca, which they recently sold for $9 million. Other celebrities that own in the upscale Brooklyn Heights neighborhood include Paul Giamatti, Mary Louise Parker, and Keri Russell.

This record-holding sale may not last for long, though. Matt Damon is allegedly under contract to purchase a $16.645 million penthouse at the top of the Standish.
