Norah Jones Lists Cobble Hill Brownstone for $8 Million

After 10 years, singer songwriter Norah Jones is parting with her historic Cobble Hill brownstone on Amity Street. The 5 bedroom, 3 bath townhome was built in 1843 and still has some original details, including Greek Revival iron work and beamed ceilings, plus new additions like a heated pool and hot tub in the backyard. Jones purchased the house in 2009 for $4.9 million and performed some controversial renovations to the exterior facade. The artist is asking $8 million for the 4-story browstone that features a master suite with a 300-square-foot terrace, a sun room, and a teak wet bar. You’re likely to continue to see Jones around the neighborhood, though, as she still owns the 19th-century carraige house on Pacific Street she bought in 2015.
